This piece was created at another incredible legal wall in Brisbane that I highly recommend checking out. I worked on this painting alongside another piece right next to it, creating a spontaneous flow between the two. I could easily cover places like this with my work—they feel like the perfect canvas for my style. There’s a certain purity in this piece, stemming from the natural balance of colors. I always enjoy the freedom of creating these unplanned works, where I let my subconscious take the lead and simply let the paint speak for itself.

For the Love of It” is a series that explores Tarik’s deep passion for creation and self-expression through painting. He seeks out unusual, unpopulated locations to refine his skills and find solace from the stresses of life and the weight of past experiences. This process not only serves as a therapeutic escape but also rekindles his connection to the stories he aims to tell through his art. When his creative space feels overwhelming, these quiet spots become his sanctuary, allowing him to rediscover the joy of painting and the narratives woven into each piece.
