For the Love of It” is a series that explores Tarik’s deep passion for creation and self-expression through painting. He seeks out unusual, unpopulated locations to refine his skills and find solace from the stresses of life and the weight of past experiences. This process not only serves as a therapeutic escape but also rekindles his connection to the stories he aims to tell through his art. When his creative space feels overwhelming, these quiet spots become his sanctuary, allowing him to rediscover the joy of painting and the narratives woven into each piece.

Description:
In this piece, as with many of my public works, the journey of creation unfolds spontaneously. I begin without a clear vision, allowing the process and unseen forces to guide me. Some paintings evolve gradually, their beauty revealing itself over time, while others, like this one, strike with an immediate and powerful impact, compelling the viewer to confront their weighty truths. Driven by a spectrum of emotions, my art serves as a reflection of the larger issues facing our world, filtered through my personal experiences. My hope is that you find a sense of clarity and connection within these expressions.
